President – Adepeju Adepoju

Peju is a finance professional with experience covering deal advisory, corporate finance and project finance. Peju graduated with a first-class degree in finance from the University of Lagos and joined the deal advisory team at KPMG in Nigeria, where he worked on numerous transactions covering financial due diligence, business valuations, business planning and regulatory reporting. Subsequently, he joined Alpha African Advisory (former Travant Capital Partners) where he led both corporate finance and project finance transactions. Peju completed his MBA internship at Searchlight Capital Partners and is passionate about people.  Peju intends to pursue a career in Investment Banking after his MBA at Rotman.

Vice President, Communications & Finance – Ugochukwu Philip Ojiegbu

Philip is an Engineer turned Business enthusiast. He holds a degree in Agricultural engineering from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi and a master’s in environmental management from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Prior to Rotman, he worked with Guaranty Trust bank as an Account Officer and Relationship Manager. He came to Rotman to develop his leadership skills as well as the financial and business acumen to lead teams, transform organizations and position them for sustainable growth.

Vice President, Events – Frank Otabor

Frank is a Rotman MBA 2021 Candidate, a Junior Fellow at Massey College, a selected Rotman FinHub and Leadership Development Fellow, and the Vice President of Events for Rotman African and Caribbean Business Club (RACBC). He has over 6 years of project management experience in the oil and gas industry and healthcare industry, building flexible strategies to facilitate change, improve processes, and execute projects on schedule and budget. He is an entrepreneur, who led a team of 15 at a start-up bottled water facility in Nigeria, and an artist with a focus on business strategy. As an artist and a futurist, Frank’s mission is to paint a picture of the future by engaging the world with his ideas and by building innovative tools that solve complex problems and address tomorrow’s needs.

Vice President, Alumni Relations- Chantal Chizea

Chantal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Nigeria and a Master’s of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Leeds, UK. She is a Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) certified Petroleum Engineer and a recipient of the prestigious Forté Fellowship award. Before Rotman, Chantal worked at Shell as a Reservoir Engineer for Deepwater Assets in the Gulf of Guinea. Being passionate about Diversity and Inclusion in all spheres, Chantal served on the Executive Committee of the Shell Women’s Network where she was primarily concerned with career development, growth, and advancement of women in the male-dominated workplace.

As part of the RACBC executive committee, Chantal plans to lend her voice to contribute to promoting equity and fairness within the Rotman Community. She believes that beyond diversity, inclusion ensures that value is not left on the table.
