ALEX YEO

GBC President

1. Who are you?

Alex Yeo, GBC President, 2014 FT, previously worked in Singapore government and strategy/general management for McDonald’s.

2. Why did you join the GBC and what is your mission for the 2013-2014 school year?

I wanted to join the GBC because I felt that it was a great way to give back to the school and to positively shape the Rotman experience for everyone in the 2 and 3 year programs.

3. What is your favourite thing about the Rotman experience?

Having moved here with no support network, I’ve really come to appreciate the deep friendships that you forge in the program. These new-found friendships have really helped Toronto to feel like home, and is the no. 1 thing that I’ve gained from the experience.

KATYA KUDASHKINA

Katya

1. Who are you?

Katya Kudashkina, Executive Vice President, 2015 Morning MBA, Business Analyst at CPPIB.

2. Why did you join the GBC and what is your mission for the 2013-2014 school year?

The first year of school has been fantastic for me. My goal is to make sure that every other student has the opportunities to make their year in school just as great, have a chance to connect themselves to a great Rotman community and develop a positive school spirit.

3. What is your favourite thing about the Rotman experience?

Endless opportunities to step out of your comfort zone – this is the best way to learn and experience new things.
