Volunteer Consulting Group

The Volunteer Consulting Group [VCG] is currently looking for MBA students to serve as Engagement Managers. Selected candidates will solve real problems for community-based organizations in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, organizational structure, finance, fundraising and human resources management. Apply on or before October 2nd at 5pm if you think you have what it takes to be an Engagement Manager.

 

The VCG is looking for MBA students with excellent problem solving skills, teamwork ability and a high degree of professionalism. Selected candidates will lead a team of volunteer consultants and be paired with a non-profit organization on a consulting project, running from November 2012 to March 2013. Engagement Managers will also be paired with an Industry Advisor from a reputable Management Consulting Firm. We choose volunteers who we believe have the potential to be successful consultants. Our ideal candidate has qualities such as:

 

-Leadership demonstrated through roles on campus and in the community

-Achievements in the workplace that show initiative and drive

-Excellence in applying analytical ability in a team setting

-Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems in the non-profit sector
