The purpose of this Guide is to familiarize all students who are planning events on behalf of a Graduate Business Council Club or Association with the procedures and regulations of the Rotman School of Management.  The information contained in this Guide will assist students in the planning, preparation and execution of events at the Rotman School. Each GBC Club and Association is expected to familiarize themselves with this material and abide by the stated guidelines in order to host events at, or on behalf of, the Rotman School.  If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact the Assistant Director, Events Lead.

This guide was prepared to help student event facilitators understand and utilize the administrative resources available to them in the planning and hosting of Club events.  In addition to operating under the auspice of the Graduate Business Council, Clubs can expect to work closely with the Development Team, Career Centre, Office of Student Engagement (OSE), particularly with the Assistant Director, Event Lead, and other departments of the Rotman School as needed.

Successful Club events serve to benefit the students at Rotman as well as to enhance the value of the Rotman MBA/MFIN.  The intention of the Office of Student Engagement, and other administrative departments of the Rotman School, is to partner with Clubs to ensure students can achieve their goals.
