Broadly speaking, I am interested in probability theory and its applications in almost all areas of knowledge! During the last couple of years I have been studying some stochastic systems that arise naturally in engineering applications. For example, a network of communicating nodes (transmitters and receivers) form such a system in which random messages, corrupted by noise, must be detected in a destination.
