Junior Achievement: Share Your Experience with Local Students
Junior Achievement: Share Your Experience with Local Students?
What is JA: Junior Achievement is a very short volunteer teaching opportunity that has major impacts on the 8th Grade students involved. Rotman Outreach needs volunteers to teach the “Economics for Success” program for one full school day in a local classroom.
A study by BCG revealed that:
➢ JA creates an annual return of $45 for every $1 spent in societal prosperity in Canada
➢ Junior Achievers earn average incomes 50% higher than non-participants and are 50% more likely to open their own business
➢ JA’s annual impact on the Canadian economy is $105M
JA will provide volunteers with a 1-hour training session on March 27th at 5pm, at Rotman (in the Fleck Atrium). All the tools and materials you need for a successful experience will be provided. Sign up with a partner of your choice (or you would be paired up with a fellow classmate). Volunteers receive 50 Bell Cup Curve points each. Read more for program and registration details.
