Open to all 2YR and 3YR students. Some pre-work is required.

Ziba directors, Mick Glenn (Director of Environment & Experience Design) and Rob Wees (Senior Art Director) will lead the session.

Time: Registration starts at 9:30pm, Workshop is 10:00am-5:00pm
Cost: $35/person covers the cost of materials and food

About the Instructors

Mick Glenn, Director of Environment & Experience Design
Mick leads a multidisciplinary team to create branded environments and experiences that tell authentic, meaningful stories. His methodologies translate consumer insights into concepts that reinforce emotional connections with brands. Considering the entire ecosystem of a consumer journey, Mick creates branded experiences that integrate multiple touch points across environments, communication, digital, products, service and events.

Mick has led the creation of Global experience platforms for Reebok, adidas and Luxxottica. He has developed brand activation concepts for Adidas World Cup, Beats Music, Coca Cola and Reebok. Prior to joining Ziba, Mick was the Global Store Design & Merchandising Director at Jurlique Skincare in NY and as a Senior Designer at Landini Associates, a Sydney brand and design consultancy.

Mick holds a BA in Design from the University of New South Wales and a BS in Business from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Rob Wees, Senior Art Director
Rob partners with our creative directors to lead the visual design and emotive storytelling for a variety of clients. He works to translate brand and consumer insights into design direction, and brings multi-disciplinary teams together to tell an inspiring and consistent story across varying touch points.

Most recently, Rob led the branding process for REI. He has also worked for clients including Procter & Gamble, their luxury partner brands, Moda Health and adidas.

Prior to joining Ziba, Rob was a Senior Designer at Sockeye Creative, an advertising and marketing firm in Portland, where he developed identities and brand design for Portland State University, T-Mobile and Starwood Hotels. In addition, he created visual campaigns for the Portland Opera, adidas NBA and Euroleague Basketball.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising from Central Washington University.
