BTG has been working with one of the leading Development Bootcamps in Toronto and you get hands-on training as a result!! Since we&#8217;re business students, the curriculum has been fine-tuned to be relevant to you!<\/p>\n<p><span>This is a paid-event and will cost $250 per\u00a0student (this covers all four sessions).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curriculum Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sessions 1 &amp;\u00a02:<br \/>\n\u2022 How the web works<br \/>\n\u2022 The role of HTML \/ CSS \/ Javascript \/ Server<br \/>\n\u2022 Typical development lifecycle<br \/>\n\u2022 Agile scrum \/ sprint \/ staging \/ production release cycles<br \/>\n\u2022 Roles and concerns in a modern tech workplace<br \/>\n\u2022 Collaboration tools, Git and managing code bases<br \/>\n\u2022 A day in the life of a developer \/ product manager \/ designer<\/p>\n<p>Sessions 3 &amp;\u00a04:<br \/>\n\u2022 How to create a basic website<br \/>\n\u2022 Browsers, HTTP, Hosting and Domains, DNS<br \/>\n\u2022 How to get accurate pricing \/ timelines from a dev shop when you aren\u2019t one<br \/>\n\u2022 Modern text editors and how to write a simple program<br \/>\n\u2022 UI testing Logic testing and q\/a, a\/b, user testing<br \/>\n\u2022 Frameworks, libraries and distribution networks like GitHub<\/p>\n<p>Session Dates:<br \/>\n\u2022 Saturday, January 30 &#8211; Rm 127<br \/>\n\u2022 Saturday, February 6 &#8211; Rm 1333<br \/>\n\u2022 Saturday, February 13 &#8211; Rm 133<br \/>\n\u2022 Saturday, February 20 &#8211; Rm 133<\/p>\n<p>Each session runs from 10:00am to 2:00pm and lunch will be provided.
