This involves dismantling any perceived obstacles that might deter students from pursuing a career in consulting.<\/li>\n<li>To equip members with the knowledge, skills, and relationships to successfully launch a career in consulting or strategy.<\/li>\n<li>To develop and strengthen Rotman\u2019s relationships with consulting firms and internal strategy groups in industry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>BENEFITS TO MCA CLUB MEMBERS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Access to practice case material for consulting and internal strategy interviews<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Case prep sessions throughout the year<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Industry Receptions to network with recruiters<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Guest speaker events<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Case competitions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>HOW TO JOIN<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Membership is open to all Rotman MBA students. Incoming students can sign-up through the clubs signup page in the My Programs page of R-World during the clubs fair, or throughout the year by contacting the club executive at <a href=\"mailto:mca@rotman.utoronto.ca\">mca@rotman.utoronto.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>MEMBER RESOURCES<\/strong><\/span><br \/>Members have exclusive access to MCA info-session events, networking events, career preparation with the MCA executives, and case practice materials throughout the academic year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>CLUB GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Your professionalism is essential to maintain a positive reputation for Rotman students<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Attendance is mandatory once you have registered for an event\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">If you cannot attend an event you registered for you must give the MCA a minimum of 24 hours notice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">If you are late for an event you will not be allowed to participate<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">You will be asked to leave an event if you do not meet dress code (unless stated otherwise all events are business formal &#8211; suit and tie for men, suit, or dress with jacket for women)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">You will be asked to leave an event if your conduct is unprofessional<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Students who miss, are late for, or are asked to leave an event will receive a strike, students with two strikes will not be permitted to register for the following two events<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">It is your responsibility to find an MCA rep with a sign-in sheet to confirm you are at an event, students who do not sign in will receive a strike<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><b>ELECTIONS AND SUCCESSION<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Elections will be completed before the 1st of May.
