Background

Alexys holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from University of São Paulo (USP). Prior to Rotman, he worked as a Senior Data Scientist for 6 years developing Credit and Counterparty Risk models for the largest Latin American bank (Itaú-Unibanco). During the Summer, he joined Scotiabank’s Data Office as a Data Engineer. 

He is interested in Analytics because allows him to apply scientific and mathematical methodologies to solve virtually any business problem and create value. Also, Analytics requires constant research to be up to date in recent trends, which allows him to continuously learn about exciting topics.
