Martin Ossip Scholarship – Call FOR APPLICATIONS

Established in 2008 by the Martin Ossip family at the United Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto, this award recognizes students for their leadership and outstanding contributions to the Jewish community.

Value: $45,000 total for up to 3 recipients

Eligibility:

  • Domestic Students
  • Students in the Full-Time or Morning and Evening MBA programs
  • Outstanding contributions to the Jewish community
  • Ethics and values consistent with traditional Jewish faith
  • Financial need may also be considered

Shortlisted candidates will interview with the Awards Committee.

How to Apply:

Submit one single document (as a PDF file).

  1. A cover letter/essay (no more than 2 pages long) providing a narrative of your outstanding contributions to the Jewish community. As well as an explanation as to how your ethics and values are consistent with traditional Jewish faith.
  2. A current résumé

Letter and résumé must be in standard Rotman format (template available through RCareer) and can be addressed to “Award Committee”.

Ensure that your document includes your student number and full name on each page.

Do not include any extra documents (i.e. reference letters, project reports, transcripts, etc.). Academic standing will be confirmed by the Registrar’s Office.

Deadline to apply is 5:00PM EST, Thursday, February 16, 2023. Late submissions will not be considered.
