Lisa Van Espen
President
Prior to starting her MBA at Rotman, Lisa spent two years at Scotiabank, specifically Roynat Capital, where she performed in-depth analyses on mid-market Canadian businesses who sought financing for growth opportunities related to asset or company acquisitions. She built financial models and assessed a variety of industries to underwrite complex credit transactions. She’s established a reputation for being a go-getter and an excellent project manager through her extensive involvement in extra-curricular activities. In her spare time, Lisa loves to play sports and travels the world to soak in all the architectural wonders and cultures. Moving forward, Lisa is interested in leveraging her skill set and MBA to explore opportunities in real estate development and investments which stems from her passion for the evolving real estate industry.
Adam Lambros
VP Finance
Adam holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Carleton. Before beginning his MBA at Rotman, Adam worked as an Engineering Consultant in Land Development. Adam spent his summer working at Bird Capital, a subsidiary of Bird Construction, as a Development Associate Intern perusing Triple P Public Infrastructure Projects.
Ryan Hixon
VP Strategy
Prior to starting his MBA at Rotman, Ryan spent four years at Surfline/Wavetrak, Inc. managing digital advertising campaigns grossing over $5MM a year in revenue. He is now combining his experience in project management with the Rotman MBA to pursue a career in commercial real estate development with the goal of creating unique physical spaces that transform communities. He has established a knack at bringing organization and methodology to complex processes while maintaining a strong intuition for customer experience. As an avid surfer, Ryan has traveled extensively around the world and brings a deep appreciation for varied landscapes and diverse cultures to his professional aspirations.
Oscar Piovesan
VP Internal
Before starting his MBA at the Rotman School of Management, Oscar spent several years in the construction industry, specifically in the development of a major infrastructure project in South America. Afterwards, he established his boutique real estate firm to focus on renovating luxury residential properties for high-net-worth clients. Oscar’s passion for real estate has expanded to the Canadian market, and he’s driven to learn the ins and outs of the development process in Canada. Currently, Oscar is an executive member of the Rotman Real Estate Association where he collaborates with his peers to further develop the Rotman brand. In his spare time, Oscar is an avid sports fan, enjoys traveling the world, and always welcomes the opportunity to connect with professionals in the industry.
Adam Moghtaderi
VP External
With a background in structural engineering, Adam has been involved in real estate development and construction in diverse capacities. Adam has showcased his talent in real estate development, general contracting, structural engineering consulting, as well as the public sector. Adam foresees a remarkable future in real estate development in the GTA, and he aspires to have a high level involvement in this unfolding. Hence, Adam sees his undertaking of the MBA program at the Rotman School of Management as a step forward towards achieving this goal.
Nadine Di Nardo
VP Communications
Nadine graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and is part of the SKOLL/MBA program at Rotman. Before graduate school, Nadine worked in various fields related to Real Estate including consulting, construction, and land development. For her MBA internship, Nadine is working at Tridel in Project Feasibility and Land Acquisitions.
