I am a Professor of Strategic Management, and the J.R.S. Prichard and Ann Wilson Chair in Management, at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Prior to my rejoining the Rotman School in 2001, I spent three years as an Assistant Professor of Competition & Strategy at the Harvard Business School. Prior to that, I spent three years as an Assistant Professor at the Rotman School. Prior to that, my memory begins to fade, but I am pretty sure I spent about 23 years in various primary, secondary, and tertiary schools. I also worked for a few years as a management consultant for Temple, Barker & Sloane, now part of Oliver Wyman, and co-founded a small consulting firm specializing in intellectual capital management, known as ICM Group.
I am also the Series Editor for Advances in Strategic Management (ASM), published by Emerald Insight. Information on ASM here.
