Exciting times, big changes at the Rotman School. Although for most people summer is a quiet time, not the case with us. We are busy with planning and getting ready to meet with brilliant prospective students all around the world.
Those who have already visited our website would know, we have a very busy fall season. We will be on the road quite a lot to meet with our candidates. We have two more milestones! Our new website will be launched on August 28th. We have been working on our new website diligently to meet our candidates’ needs as well as our employers. The new website is more interactive and there will be lots of visuals to make your research more fun! Truly Rotman’s New Face to the World. We have been talking about our new building for a couple of years now and I am sure most of you have already seen the fly-through video of the new building. Our new building is now open and our incoming group of students have already experienced the new building. The feedback we have received so far has been extremely positive. Our new facility has more student space to relax and mingle and we have 64 new group study rooms for team work. As you know the best part of the Rotman MBA is the extensive team work. Our new event space can accommodate up to 500 guests, employer networking sessions and countless guest speaker events will be more fun going forward. Our new classrooms are equipped with the most advanced technology to prepare you well for your next presentation to a room full of seniors at work!
Since we are a downtown business school, space was one of our challenges in the past. As you know having a downtown location has many advantages and has always been more attractive to employers who want to recruit at Rotman. Now that we have our new space, we will be able to attract more employers and can host more events. Space is no more a challenge for the Rotman School!
2012 has been a remarkable year for us; we were able to accommodate more students. The word got our and more global employers already started visiting us, a couple of weeks ago we had Nike on campus!
