Our recruitment and admissions team had a hectic start to the year. Since September, we have visited several cities and met with wonderful prospective students and now we’re busy with reviewing those great applications and meeting with our candidates once again for an admissions interview. Looks like it’ll be another great year @rotmanschool.

This time of the year has great energy, one round wraps up and the next one starts picking up. We already set our date for the next admissions workshop, for those of you who are gearing up for January 13^th deadline-and if you’re living in Toronto, a must-attend event. Don’t forget to register.

Apart from admissions, via this blog post, I’d like to make a big announcement! Some of you might know; I have been enjoying my role at the Rotman School since 2010. I visited very interesting places, learned a lot from different cultures and met with fabulous people who later on became students in the program. I keep in touch with most of them-thanks to Social Media! My job as Assistant Director, Recruitment and Admissions has been a very exciting role. There were challenging times and certainly moments of incredible joy especially when I see our students graduate and start a great career. For the last couple of years I witnessed a great transition from expanding the school from 265 students to 350 students; taking the school to the level of other mid-sized North American business schools. What an amazing success story!

Right now, I am now enjoying a very different special moment in my life; will be soon having an addition to my family! Exciting times! I will be on maternity leave as of November 29, 2013 until January 6, 2015. This week has been filled with mixed emotions, lots of gatherings with colleagues who are now very close friends and lots of wrapping up to do as well!
