Since 1988, the National MBA Games have been an annual Canada-wide competition that brings together more than 700 MBA students from across the country. The Games were originated by Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and the trophy given to the winning team is still called the Queen’s Cup. There are three major areas of competition: academic, athletic, and spirit. The Games are the largest gathering of MBA students in Canada.
This coming year, the MBA Games are finally traveling back to Toronto and will be hosted by the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson January 4-6, 2019. Rotman has not participated in the past two years, and we are looking forward to coming back strong!
Rotman’s focus for the 2018-19 MBA Games is to represent what the best MBA in Canada is all about: Work hard and play harder!
A sign up sheet for interested students will be available at the GBC clubs fair in the GBC sports area.
Details on participating activities and the application process will be released early fall 2018.
