The MIT-Sloan Sales Club, invites the Rotman School of Management to its 2012 MIT-Sloan Sales Competition. This competition is an invitation-only individual and team event where students will need to do a case pitch to a panel of experts. Use this opportunity to showcase your sales, marketing, and strategy talents.
The Competition is a unique opportunity for MBA students to win prestige, $10,000 in cash prizes, recruiting opportunities (intern and full time), and to network with fellow MBA students and professionals from around the world. The competition consists of a preliminary round case telephone pitch (5 minutes), and a final round in-person individual & team case pitch (15 minutes). The case pitches will test a competitor’s ability to build rapport, and persuasively present a business proposition. Each school will be invited to send their top 3 students to MIT Sloan in November to compete in the final round.

Case Type: 1 team consisting of 3 first-round finalists will be composed to represent the Rotman School of Management in both an individual and team competition. This will be a team/individual 2-day, 3-round case competition held on November 2-3, 2012. Qualifying Round will be held from October 19-26, 2012 consisting of a 5-minute phone pitch.

2011 Competitors Included: Harvard, Rotman, Kellogg, Duke, Darden, Stanford, Yale, and many other top MBA schools

Individual and Team Competition Round at Boston MIT Sloan: Selected candidates will be invited to participate in both an individual and team competition where they will need to present a sales case pitch to a panel of experts. Materials will be provided by October 29, 2012.
Individual Cash Prizes include $2,500 for 1st Place, $1,200 for 2nd Place and $900 for 3rd Place
Team Cash Prizes include $3,000 for 1st Place, $1,500 for 2nd Place and $900 for 3rd Place
Finalists will also receive commendation letter from the Rotman School of Management
