Going for Grammys

Two weeks ago, our own Temi Kolarinwa (2YR 2013) performed at Afrofusion 2012! He’s been rapping since the age of 10, and only started taking his potential in the music industry seriously about 4 years ago. Inspired by the rise of independent artists on the web and rap artist Drake, Temi has worked on crafting his character and core message. Now he’s ready to take his career to the next level; aiming to go commercial and of course reaching for the ever coveted Grammy. Its early days yet and according to Temi, “I’m probably in hour 4,000 of the estimated 10,000 if you believe Malcolm Gladwell, so I’ve still got a long way to go.”

We’ll be sure to hear from him the next time he has a performance in TO or when his new tracks release, but in the meantime, you can check out videos of his past performance and current music on his blog.
