Second Business Design Bootcamp!

Join us for a second Bootcamp on Saturday, October 19, 2013!

Hosted by Rotman DesignWorks, this workshop will introduce you to basic tools of Business Design. The tools and methods from the workshop will give you a structured approach to innovation and can be applied to your MBA courses and work. The day promises to be hands-on and very engaging, giving you a valuable opportunity to experience Business Design.

Stefanie Schram and Alpesh Mistry, Sr. Research Associates at Rotman DesignWorks will lead the session. Jennifer Riel, Associate Director, and Josie Fung, Research Associate for Desautel Centre for Integrative Thinking, will co-lead the sessions.

What is Business Design?

Business Design is a human-centred innovation methodology. It can be effectively used to find new business opportunities, explore different solutions, and design winning businesses.

The Workshop

This 1-day workshop (9am – 4:30pm) costs $45 and will include a light breakfast, a delicious lunch, and workshop materials. Bootcamp registration will go live on the R-World Events site Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm.  Act fast – there are only 27 spots available.

Required pre-work: A 30-minute exercise will be sent out one week prior to the workshop.

Outcomes

At the end of the day you will understand how the key principles of Business Design: Empathy, Prototyping and Strategy can help generate more creative and viable solutions.
