The High School Market Simulation Challenge Winners Announced! 

Toronto, Ontario– The BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab at the Rotman School of Management is pleased to announce the winners of the 16th edition of The High School Market Simulation Challenge! This competition invites all high school students to learn about finance and participate in a Market Simulation Challenge.  

 

The HSMSC begins with a morning workshop where students learn about financial markets and then later allows the students to demonstrate their newly learned skills through a Market Simulation Challenge using the FRT-Lab platforms.

  

The competition this year was fierce; we had many bright young students! 

 

The winners of the HSMSC are: 

 

First Place: Lucas Quick – Ecole Secondaire Catholique Paul Desmarais 

Second Place: Theo Stechysin – École Secondaire Catholique Paul-Desmarais 

Third Place: Nathan Lee – Dr. G. W. Williams Secondary School 

Fourth Place: Arjun Raveendran – Northview Heights Secondary School
