Rotman Commerce Undergraduate Fund – Market Simulation Series. Registration is Open!
Toronto, Ontario– The BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab is excited to announce that the registration for the Rotman Commerce Undergraduate Fund-Market Simulation Series opens today! In collaboration with The Rotman Commerce Undergraduate Fund, this three-part series helps students learn the basics of trading using the Rotman Interactive Trading Market Simulator. Students will receive hands-on training to help prepare for other upcoming lab activities and competitions.
The Beginner session will occur on March 5th, 2025, and will hold an Equity Valuation case that introduces students to basic equity valuation, using a fixed P/E ratio to the realized earnings of a company to determine the associated stock valuation.
The Intermediate session will occur on April 2nd, 2025, which will include a Liability Trading Case where students will evaluate the liquidity risk associated with various tender offers.
These sessions are free and open to all University of Toronto undergraduate students.
