Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC) 2024, 20th Edition

Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC) 2024, 20th Edition

Toronto – The BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab at the Rotman School of Management presents the 20th Edition of The Rotman International Trading Competition (RITC), held in-person at the Rotman School of Management St. George Campus on February 21st, 2024.

On this unique 3-day event, teams of four student competitors representing 50+ universities worldwide, are invited to connect and engage in this exceptional competition, as well as to network with sponsors, and each other.

RITC 2024 will feature an innovative set of RIT Decision Cases. This simulation allows participating teams to compete by identifying trading opportunities across a wide range of realistic simulated scenarios including open outcry, options, liquidity, and algorithmic trading.

Faculty advisors are invited not only to coach and observe their teams, but also to participate in various workshops and activities.

The competition has grown not just in scope, but also in international exposure. Last year, RITC hosted 52 teams from 52 different universities from North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. This global representation grants a valuable opportunity for like-minded future finance professionals to meet their peers from across the globe.

This event will take place at The BMO Financial Group Finance Research and Trading Lab at the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. The Lab is a state-of-the-art facility that focuses on the integration of theory and research with practice, through real-time access to global financial resources.
