Charles Locoh-Donou

Co-President

Charles is a former professional Thai Boxing Champion. While competing at a high level in France, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management and started working in accounting and finance for 6 years.

Recalled by his passion for sports and entertainment, he eventually founded a Talents Agency representing female artists and athletes coming from the underrepresented communities in Paris.

Eager to develop his business acumen and increase his impact in the Sports and Entertainment industry, Charles decided to join the best business school in Toronto, a city he loves.

Aderonke Akinsola

Co-President

Ronke has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and is a CFA Charter holder.

Prior to Rotman, Ronke worked as the lead analyst for the financial services sector (focusing on banks and insurance companies in Nigeria) after initially covering the industrial goods sector for two years. She also had prior coverage of Nigerian macroeconomic and fixed income research.

For her summer internship, Ronke is working with the Corporate Banking team at CIBC Capital Markets.

Ayokunle Ajibare

Vice President, Alumni Relations

Ayo has a BSc in Chemical Engineering but has spent most of his professional career in banking and financial services with a primary focus on treasury and fixed income trading.

For the summer, Ayo interned in the Treasury ALM unit of CIBC.

Samuel Babarinde

Vice President, Communication

Samuel has a B.Sc. in Accounting from Bowen University. He is a Chartered Accountant and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.

He has 4 years of work experience in Corporate Finance and Assurance, where he provided strategic financial and investment consultancy services.

For the summer, Samuel interned at BCI in the Investment Strategy and Risk team.

Charles Nwani

Vice President, Events

Charles Nwani has a first-class bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is a distinguished finance professional with over 5 years’ experience navigating the Nigerian fixed income market.

Prior to starting his MBA at The Rotman School of Management, he headed the fixed income proprietary trading desk at CardinalStone Partners Limited. Charles spent his summer working with the fixed income sales team at TD Securities.

Banji Erikitola

Vice President, Finance

Banji is a Morning/Evening MBA student and would lead the Finance and Operations team at RACBC.

He has extensive experience in finance and operations at Private Equity, Venture Capital, Mutual Funds, and traditional banking in Nigeria and Canada. He currently works at Citco and most recently at Northleaf Capital Partners.
