Background

Tarush Gupta holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, and an MA in Applied Economics from The George Washington University. He combines his econometrics training with his interest in exploring empirical datasets to observe decision-making in different realms. Previously, he has worked as a researcher ascertaining the effects of nudges in healthcare and education, the determinants of risk-taking and time sensitivity, and the role of parental time-use in future outcomes for their progeny. Beyond academia, he enjoys listening to and creating music, reading crime thriller novels, and getting lost in new cities. At the University of Toronto Rotman, Tarush intends on buttressing his analytical skills to help businesses make human-centric data-based decisions.
