President: Dani Li
Dani holds a Bachelors Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from the Western University. Prior to joining Rotman, She was a P&L Analyst at Citco Fund Services. During the summer of 2015, she worked as a Graduates Matter Rotation Program (GMRP) Summer Associate at CIBC, where she was part of Capital Market Risk Management. She is currently pursuing a CFA designation and is an active recreational rock climber.
Vice-President Communications: Rory Sun
Rory completed her Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining Rotman, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong, focusing on the financial services industry. During the summer of 2015, she worked in Wholesale Banking & Treasury Audit Group at CIBC. In her spare time, she enjoys board games, ultimate frisbee, tennis and badminton.
Vice-President Finance: Rohan Bhargava
Rohan completed his Bachelors in Economics (honors) from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and Masters in Financial Management from The Australian National University (ANU). Prior to joining Rotman, he worked with Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) as an Associate, Credit Analysis for the Financial Institutions Group for four years. During the summer of 2015, he worked as a Research Analyst at Charity Intelligence Canada where he researched and assigned ratings to charities using financial models, which helped donors make informed decisions. At an early age, he also set up a rural hospital in India. Rohan has represented his school, college and club at the state, national and international level in both Cricket and Karate.
Vice President Events: Pratik Mehta
Pratik is an engineer from University of Mumbai and spent 4.5 years in the development sector in India, working for a startup microfinance company. He hopes to write the CFA Level 3 exam in June 2016. During the summer of 2015, he worked as a Graduates Matter Rotational Program Summer Associate at CIBC where he was a part of the Global Operational Risk Management group. He spends his free time learning Indian classical texts and trying to make sense of politics around the world.
Director, Full-time MBA: Rohit Sharma
Rohit is a Chartered Accountant, who has also completed all 3 Levels of CFA. Prior to joining Rotman, he was an Assistant Professor at an MBA Institute teaching Analysis of Financial Statements. This summer, Rohit worked as an Assistant Production Supervisor on a big-budget Hollywood movie, in a Corporate Finance role which included tracking and forecasting the cost of the movie. Aside from Risk Management, he is passionate about adventure sports, board games and travelling. Rohit is a sport skydiver and has skydived 110 times.
Director, Morning/Evening MBA: Debabrata Das
Debabrata holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer science from University of Toronto. He has 7 years of experience in software and manufacturing from research to product development, technology assessment, analysis & validation to drive business growth. He has extensive knowledge of monitoring the fund balances of assigned programs and related financial activities. Besides, having the passion for economics and investment solutions for sustainable renewable energy, he would also like to leverage his software skills to develop robust financial models to identify and mange different financial risks.
