Rotman DesignWorks: Sandbox Series

GBC RDW-Banner

What do Google, IDEO, Procter & Gamble and Nike do to stay ahead of the competition? What are some of their core innovation principles and best practices?

Rotman DesignWorks, the Business Design studio at Rotman introduces the Sandbox Series. Designed for students who want to learn the basics of Business Design and put them into practice. This is your opportunity to unleash your creativity; play with industry-tested tools; learn from practitioners and apply them in real time.

These workshops will equip you with the ability to tackle projects, case competitions and your work with greater creativity and insight. It includes hands-on session in storytelling, empathy, need finding, prototyping, systems thinking, experience design and strategy. Finally, practice what you learn in the Business Design Sprint, a 1-week rapid fire design project.

“My experience of the Sandbox Series was so well connected to and prepared me for my internship at Bridgeable Research + Design.”    – Terri Block, MBA ’14, Former Business Design Club President
