Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from the University of Toronto, and worked for a digital healthcare technology company for four years prior to Rotman. He has been an active member of Toronto’s LGBTQ2S+ community for the past 7 years, and has been passionate about advocating for LGBTQ2S+ leadership in the workplace. This summer, Michael continued his passion for healthcare strategy at Michael Garron Hospital as a Strategic Business Analyst/Administrative Resident.

Zihan received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College and master’s degree in Education from Harvard University. Prior to Rotman, she worked with undergraduate students as an academic advisor, helping them design individualized pathways toward achieving their goals. This summer, Zihan joined BCG as a Summer Consultant.

VP Operations – She/Her
Ly holds her bachelor’s degree in Economics. She spent 5 years working in category management and technology procurement before attending Rotman. This fall, Ly will be joining P&G as their Brand Management Intern. She loves making new friends and wishes to visit Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit once things open up!

VP Community Outreach – She/Her
Shaina holds a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University and an MSc in Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University. She began her clinical career working in accessible tourism and prior to Rotman spent three years working in Operations and Corporate Development at a national healthcare company where she supported the roll-up acquisition strategy, implemented a PPE procurement strategy, and spearheaded a CSR partnership with Special Olympics Canada. In the Fall, Shaina will be joining Kensington Health as a Corporate Planning intern.

VP Finance and Industry Relations – He/Him
Solomon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Babson College in Boston, MA, with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. Solomon started his professional career at Ernst & Young’s within the Transaction and Strategy business line in Boston, where he specialized in business and intangible asset valuations. Prior to Rotman, Solomon worked as the General Manager for his family shipyard business in Fu’an, Fujian.

VP Ally Engagement – She/Her
Michaela holds her bachelors degree in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Prior to Rotman, she spent three years working at Johnson & Johnson in their Technology Leadership Development Program. During this time she was able to support all three sectors of the company; medical devices, consumer health, and pharmaceuticals. This summer, Michaela joined the Cleveland Clinic as an Advisory Services Fellow.
