Non-Rotman Student Elective Enrolment Process

General Information

University of Toronto students currently enrolled in a graduate program outside of Rotman may apply for enrolment in select Rotman MBA elective courses offered in the Winter Intensive and Spring 2025 terms, provided space is available. Please find the list of eligible courses below. Your application must be completed in full and approved by your home department before submitting it to the Rotman Registrar’s Office. The application deadline is Monday, December 2, 2024. Applications will be reviewed and processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Note that late and/or incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

A friendly reminder that students are not to contact instructors directly, as all external requests are managed by the Registrar’s Office at Rotman. Please note that students from other University of Toronto faculties must comply with the Rotman drop deadlines.

Important Note:  Non-Rotman students are limited to taking one Rotman course per term and two courses in total.

Please also note that due to limited courses and availability, we are not able to accept Non-Rotman students during the Summer term.

How to Apply

Ensure your application is completed in full.
  • List all relevant graduate-level pre-requisites corresponding to the Rotman MBA course (see page 1 of the application)
    • Syllabi for pre-requisites must also be attached to the application
  • Indicate the number of MBA elective courses you wish to register in and list them in priority sequence
  • Student and Graduate Coordinator sign Section 2 of the Add/Drop form (page 3 of the application)
    • This should be a physical signature, or a certified Adobe signature

Please submit your application electronically to RO@rotman.utoronto.ca no later than Monday, December 2, 2024.

We will process applications once the instructor has approved, and once space in the requested course has been confirmed. Students are not to contact the instructor(s) directly for approval, as this process is managed exclusively by our office.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Registrar’s Office.
