Technical Preparation/Knowledge Building

  • Rotman Curriculum including courses in Data Management, Strategy and Marketing (see Rotman MBA Electives Guide)
  • Coding and Data Manipulation exposure is a huge asset
  • Experience using coding tools like Python, SQL, R, AWS, VBA, and others
  • For more technical roles:
    • Understanding and application of predictive modelling, Machine learning, neural/deep networks
    • Knowledge of project structuring, model deployment, case preperation
  • Enhance informal and formal presentation skills, use Rotman Case Competitions to increase presence
  • Advanced Excel skills are a minimum requirement
  • Develop confidence liaising with Senior Executives and other Stakeholders

  • Design Thinking Methodology and Behavioural Economics Concepts would be assets
