Tips on follow-up communication

After a job interview, always send a personalized thank you email to the hiring manager, recruiter and interviewer(s) within the same day. Not only does this demonstrate your continued interest in the position, but it also shows follow-through and professionalism.


Keep the content brief, mentioning only the highlights of your meeting. This will remind the recipient of the skills and qualifications you can bring to the role.


If you forgot to mention something during the interview, or if you have a question, include it in your thank you email.
